World Menopause Day 18 October 2023

At its roots, menopause is a life-changing and nearly unavoidable health condition that impacts the jobs, roles, and marriages of millions of women. And yet, the isolation is increased because of the stigma that surrounds the topic of menopause, which further isolates those who are most in need of support. That’s why World Menopause Day was created for 18th October. It is a time to bring discussion of the challenges of menopause to the forefront and allow women to band together to support each other, rather than continuing to let silence surround these issues.

Pushed created this video using Illustrator, After Effects, and Premier as a way to help facilitate the conversation of menopausal challenges and raise awareness on World Menopause Day. This animation also showcases the team’s skills in animation, as the simple clip contains no dialogue yet clearly conveys the transformative power of support and friendship as a woman shrouded in darkness is lifted up into the light by other women. While serving an important purpose for awareness, this animation also allows Pushed to create a dialogue with their audience and potential clients across social media, showcasing a variety of animation styles and techniques within the wheelhouse of the Pushed team.
