Platinum Jubilee 2022

This animation was created in order to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrated in June 2022. The concept revolved around illustrating a day in the life of Her Majesty, as she started her day, arose from bed, took a walk in the garden, and then finally arrived at the balcony to greet the cheering crowd gathered to celebrate her reign. Because the intention was to commemorate the Queen for her incredible achievement of seventy years on the throne, the video was purposefully designed to finish with the scene at the balcony to emphasise the celebratory themes. Her corgis are also featured prominently as they have been the Queen’s constant companions during her reign and are a highly recognisable symbol of the monarchy. The theme was whimsical, upbeat, and celebratory throughout, with lively animations, cheery music, and an engaging flow from scene to scene. It was meant to leave viewers with a smile and pay homage to the Platinum Jubilee.

This video was built in Adobe Illustrator, After Effects, Premier and Photoshop and was first released in February 2022, with a second animation released on the Jubilee Weekend. It was designed to showcase Pushed’s technical skill and capabilities, featuring engaging and detailed graphics as part of a meticulous and well thought out video crafted to engage viewers with something that is an interesting and relatable example of our competencies, while also celebrating Her Majesty’s seventy-year reign. Creating content that is applicable to current events is a way for the team at Pushed to provide potential clients with examples of our talents as well as demonstrate that we stay topical and up to date with recent events.
