Platinum Jubilee 2022

This is the second of two animations that Pushed released on their social media platforms to commemorate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, both of which showcase our capabilities and are topical. This animation was built using Adobe Illustrator, After Effects, Premier and Photoshop. The two-video series was designed as an engaging and celebratory way to commemorate such an historic event as the first ever Platinum Jubilee. They aimed to honour the reign of Queen Elizabeth II and take part in the celebrations taking place throughout the United Kingdom to mark such a memorable occasion.

The pair of 2D animated videos were designed to complement each other, with the first detailing Her Majesty as she goes through her day and eventually steps onto her balcony to greet the crowds gathered outside to cheer for her on such a momentous day. This second instalment, which was released over the bank holiday weekend at the beginning of June 2022, picks up where the first left off, panning from the Queen on her balcony to the crowds gathered outside. Whereas the first animation was slightly more regal and anticipatory as the Queen proceeded through her day, this video was more light hearted in nature, featuring animated corgis and pigeons wearing jovial hats joining the festivities and waving right along, culminating in a celebratory display of fireworks over Buckingham Palace. Together, the two videos work in tandem to showcase the skill and talents of the Pushed team while also marking an incredibly historic occasion. Creating content that is applicable to current events is a way for the team at Pushed to provide potential clients with examples of our talents as well as to demonstrate that we stay topical and up to date with recent events
