National Trust: Saltram House

Animated Explainer Video - This 3.5 minute historical animation tells the 400 year history of Saltram House in Plymouth, Devon. Pushed worked closely with National Trust historians to ensure the highest level of accuracy.

The National Trust wanted to engage a wide audience of 8-80 years old, which would raise awareness of their local houses and gardens, this meant that this animation was used all over their website, social media and in their visitor centre. We received critical acclaim for it in Devon Life and were awarded a 2020 AVA Award for Digital Video Creation as well as runner up in the 2020 South West RTS animation award.

We kept the visuals consistent by using reference images and digitally hand drawing all images before animating the drawings using Illustrator and After Effects.
