Pure Transfer – The Hoses Meet

Hoses have feelings too, and this animation for Pure Transfer is setting out to make sure that everyone knows it. Pushed was brought on board to create these fun, amusing, one of a kind animations to introduce Pure Transfer’s new line of Flexi hoses. By giving these hoses feelings, it gives a unique approach to marketing which makes Pure Transfer stand out as different against their competitors. This creative approach to marketing by Pure Transfer is perfectly suited to an animated style, as it allowed Pushed to create exactly what the Pure Transfer team were looking for in order to bring their gaskets and hoses to life in adorable, hilarious ways that would capture the attention of the audience  

This animation was created in Blender, before being finished in Adobe After Effects and Premier Pro. In the clip, two of the Pure Transfer hoses are shown meeting in what appears to be a pub and immediately falling in love as the view pans around the new couple in the style of a romantic comedy. The clip finishes with the amusing tagline “we’re passionate about hoses,” designed to make viewers chuckle. This unique approach to marketing allows the animation to give normally mundane pieces of equipment feelings and bring them to life in a way that engages viewers and allows them to connect with the Pure Transfer line of products that is otherwise impossible simply due to the nature of the merchandise.
