Sorry we are currently unable to accommodate work experience requests.
I love the sense of community Pushed has. It’s very easy to bring up questions about how to approach animation and discuss the best way forward and it’s very easy and fun to work together as a team! It makes it a wonderful environment to learn and grow from baby-faced graduate to an industry professional! : )
I love all the projects I’ve been on, from pre-production to lighting, each project helps me broaden my skillset as an animator. But if I was to pick my favourite work, the winner would be the 2024 Chinese New Year social! It was so satisfying to finally figure out how to achieve the movement of the dragon and I loved designing the character/colour pallet for the social. Plus, dragons are super cool!

It’s a great environment to work in, everyone here is so professional, funny and friendly and we can always have a laugh. Being a smaller company in terms of staff means that you don’t become an employee number on a page, you are one of the team!
I really enjoyed working on the title sequence for Ainsley’s Caribbean Kitchen. It was such a joyful title sequence and the footage was stunning, made me wish I was in the Caribbean. A bonus on top of grading the title footage was that the logo I designed was used as the logo for the TV show.

I enjoy working for Pushed because of the tight knit “family” feel.
I always enjoy learning something new on every project I work on, but the Beacon Electrical commercial was my first to be shown on ITV, so that one stands out to me!

Pushed is a studio that specialises in variety. No two weeks are ever the same and that really gives me as an animator the chance to play and grow. The team’s expertise is so diverse that we can all learn from each other, and when a project calls for it those different skill sets can fuse as one. Those are the projects I enjoy the most!
The Unwind with ITV series has been a project driven by exciting concepts. We’d start with an abstract visual, for instance, what if falling leaves could fly like birds (shout out to Karen for the idea!) – then we’d discover how we could animate that in a beautiful, convincing way. The challenge of the concept has really pushed (no pun intended) me to broaden my skill set. There’s always more to learn!

Variety, variety, variety!
Every day is different; from meeting clients, booking airtime with ITV and SKY, sourcing models, marketing updates, unpacking and packing products for tv commercials and of course making a cuppa always goes down well!

Pushed has given me the freedom to indulge my creativity. I have also been lucky enough to work with amazing and inspiring people over the years.
This is a tricky one, I love all the projects I work on, but it (currently) has to be the history animation for the National Trust site at Saltram in Plymouth. We really did have the freedom to produce a beautiful and engaging animation that captivates an audience.
