National Robin Day – 21 December 2022

This 2D animation was built using a combination of Adobe After Effects, Premier Pro and Illustrator. It utilises a heart-warming and welcoming animation style that will immediately grab the audience’s attention and demonstrates the main point alongside text underscoring the usefulness of a simple ping pong ball. Calming music and a lack of commentary or narration helps to keep the overall effect of the animation friendly and peaceful, even as it conveys vital information that viewers can use to help their local wild birds. These principles help the animation to stand out amongst the thousands of types of digital media that we are exposed to every day and ensures that the message will be received more effectively. And, although this life-saving information can be used to help any of the local birds, Pushed chose to feature robins to coincide with National Robin Day.
