Life’s Little Recipes Christmas E-card

Pushed was approached by Life’s Little Recipes to create a Christmas e-card that customers can customise with their personal message and then the recipient can watch their gift again and again. This gives people the opportunity to send a gift to a loved one without the hassle of postage and delivery times etc.

These animations are all 3D and were produced in Cinema 4D. We built multiple environments that can be used to reflect the message, for example: Happy Birthday, Good Luck, Christmas, Congratulations etc. This gives each video a personalised feel. The process of bringing the character, Unimole, to life for the first video took four weeks to achieve using the stop motion feel and style. Once Unimole was created for the initial Happy Birthday video we were able to share assets between animations and subsequent videos were produced in about a week.

Our team wasn’t done with Unimole yet, though, and produced several hand-drawn illustrations of the character. The drawings included Unimole in different scenarios so that she can be featured in an illustrated book for the client.
