The new James Martin’s Saturday Morning titles and graphics package began with a clear brief to refresh the look while protecting everything viewers already associate with the show. The existing identity has a very established personality that feels warm, relaxed and rooted in weekend cooking, so the update needed to feel like a natural progression rather than a reinvention. The aim was to bring a little more clarity and contemporary polish to the visuals, keeping the familiar tone intact while giving the brand a gentle lift that feels current and confident.
The refreshed package was built in After Effects and Premiere Pro, which allowed the new motion and graphic elements to sit comfortably alongside the established style. The titles now have cleaner transitions, a brighter and more inviting colour approach and a more cohesive rhythm that supports the pace of the show. Graphic elements were refined so they feel more unified across the wider package, creating a smoother visual flow without losing the charm that viewers recognise. The result is a subtle but meaningful evolution that respects the original brand and keeps the programme feeling fresh for its audience.
