International Whale Shark Day 2022

Up to 50 feet long and one of the largest fish species, weighs over 33 tons, can eat up to 40kg of food per hour, has a unique pattern of dots and lines and can live up to 50 years – wow!

International Whale Shark Day established to raise awareness about the importance of whale sharks to the marine ecosystems, their dwindling population numbers and encourage efforts to conserve this species.
