Imperial College London – Business School

Imperial College Business school was opened in 2004 by Queen Elizabeth II and is the graduate business school of Imperial College London in the UK. The school looks to give you the skills to transform your career, industry and even the wider world. In an age of accelerated change and digital disruption, business leaders need to drive innovation and leverage every opportunity in this ever-changing world.

Graduates from Imperial College Business school have accomplished a great deal, and those who managed to graduate despite the obstacles that Covid-19 threw at them were especially challenged. However, due to the widespread isolation as a result of the pandemic, Imperial College London couldn’t hold their in person graduation ceremonies and wanted a way to mark the successes of their newest graduating cohort even though the commencement ceremonies were held virtually. Imperial College London approached Pushed to create this animation as part of a series of opening animations for their different faculties. The decision to make this video animated was because the event couldn’t take place in person and consequently no live action shots could be taken and used. In order to provide the university with exactly what they needed, Pushed created a series of cheerful animated clips that could be used to introduce the different faculties of the college—including this one which is designated for the college of business. All of the animations utilised a similar abstract design, colours representing the Imperial College London and upbeat, expectant music. This consistency created cohesion throughout the clips and helped the university’s graduation celebrations honour their exemplary 2020 graduates.
