Guy Fawkes Night 2023

Guy Fawkes Night is widely celebrated on 5th November by the lighting of bonfires and colourful pyrotechnics. Families and friends gather outside and turn their eyes towards the stars to marvel at the spectacles as the lit-up night ushers in the cooler temperatures of the autumn season.

Of course, the celebrations on this night look much different than they did centuries ago. Guy Fawkes night is now celebrated by hundreds of thousands of individuals across the country through fireworks and bonfires. With such festivities comes certain risks as well, so Pushed created this animation to promote the safety of our friends—both human and animal. In the 2D animation, a dog and cat quietly watch the sparkling pyrotechnics through a window, bringing awareness to the fact that some members of our families are not wholly appreciative of this night of booms and bangs. Let’s cherish this night of history and tradition while ensuring the well-being of our loved ones and furry friends.
