Fairway Furniture – Birthday Sale TV Commercial

TV Ad/Commercial Devon - Fairway Furniture has been selling furniture since early 1865, making them an established name in the furniture business and allowing them to seize new opportunities as they further their reputation as a well-known and trusted brand in Devon and Cornwall. Known for their quality products and reputable name, promotion videos for Fairway Furniture must carefully adhere to the professional and reliable brand that the company has created for themselves. Television commercials such as this one present Fairway Furniture and their associated brand to audiences who may be hearing of the company for the first time, so it is important that the message that is conveyed is actionable, engaging, and true to the intended brand. With this in mind, the creative team at Pushed set to work to create a suitable promotion video for the company.

The team at Pushed chose to go with a much simpler design to effectively convey the intended message. However, no artistry was sacrificed for simplicity in this promotion which beautifully combined live action shots with tracked animated illustrations. The unfussy concept allowed the intended message to come through loud and clear: at Fairway Furniture, customers can let their imaginations run wild when it comes to their furniture. With over 100 years of experience in both the business and their trading area, Fairway Furniture have the knowledge and expertise to meet their customers’ needs, regardless of how specific or out there their vision is.

The live action shots were filmed over two days, which  allowed us to incorporate extra scenes for future updates and promotions, making the simple yet beautiful concept versatile and much more cost-effective over time.
