EHRC – Human Rights History Animation

Pushed was approached to create this animated explainer video to demonstrate what the Human Rights Act is and how it has been utilised since it was published. Clear, concise aesthetics and wording allow the information to be conveyed effectively and in an engaging manner. The included real-world examples are accompanied by simple, thoughtful animations and graphics that serve to enhance the message. The result is an aesthetically pleasing, informative explainer video that details the key principles of the Human Rights Act through a varied set of examples that show the many areas of life the Act could apply to as a way to reach those who can relate. Produced using a combination of After Effects, Premier and Illustrator, this 2D animation brings the idea of the Act to life in an engaging and charming manner. Additionally, the components of the video were curated to compliment the previous videos which Pushed produced for the Equality and Human Rights Commission, allowing for visual continuity through all of the video content.
