Ainsley’s Caribbean Kitchen – Titles

Pushed was approached to create the programme pre-title teaser and title resolve for Ainsley’s Caribbean Kitchen. Consisting of bright, bustling live action footage edited together, then colour graded and designed with an animated logo for the title of the series. This teaser offers a slice of paradise from the Caribbean and an insight into the people Ainsley meets and the food he tastes while travelling Viewers can get excited about upcoming episodes of Ainsley’s Caribbean Kitchen, as the footage gives them a glimpse of what they can expect in future episodes, from eating shark to tasting fresh ingredients from local markets. As he adventures through the various experiences that the Caribbean islands have to offer, the clips are accompanied by upbeat, lively Caribbean music, culminating in the final animated logo which encourages viewers to return for future episodes.   

TV chef Ainsley Harriott decided to visit the Caribbean due to the inspiration it has had on his cooking from an early age, allowing him to reconnect with his roots. Stopping off in Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, Grenada, Barbados, St Lucia, Dominica and Antigua, Ainsley took viewers on a journey through the tropical climate, exotic food and charming characters that make the Caribbean unique. His journey is immersive as he takes in all of the local experiences that the culture has to offer. His series offers a fun and engaging way for viewers to experience the welcoming local environment, as well as to get a taste for local flavours, cultures, and ingredients. This pre-title teaser and title resolve serve to provide context for the upcoming series, taking viewers on a mini holiday without them ever having to leave the comfort of their own couches.
