PUSHED recently produced two dynamic animations for QMS Road Markings, each designed to showcase a different aspect of the company’s innovation and values. The first animation focused on product performance, highlighting the exceptional durability, visibility, and safety of QMS’s road marking materials in real-world conditions. It demonstrated how the company’s products outperform traditional solutions through superior adhesion, longevity, and reflectivity, key features that help maintain road safety and reduce long-term maintenance costs.
The second animation addressed the environmental impact of QMS’s work, telling the story of how their sustainable product innovations are helping to combat plastic pollution in the sea. This piece explored how traditional thermoplastic markings can break down into microplastics that eventually enter marine ecosystems, while QMS’s advanced materials are designed to significantly reduce this problem. Together, the two animations presented QMS not only as a performance-driven company but also as a forward-thinking leader in environmental responsibility.
To bring these stories to life, PUSHED adopted a comic book-inspired visual style that aligned perfectly with the QMS brand identity and colour palette. This approach gave the animations a bold, energetic tone, one that reflected QMS’s confident and innovative personality. The design used clean lines, dynamic framing and vibrant colours, creating a visual rhythm reminiscent of action-packed graphic novels. Each scene was carefully composed to balance technical information with visual storytelling, allowing complex ideas to be communicated quickly and clearly. The comic book aesthetic also provided an engaging and memorable way to differentiate QMS’s communications from standard corporate videos, capturing audience attention and reinforcing brand recognition across digital channels.
Adding to the cinematic feel, the voiceover was delivered in a classic American movie trailer style, enhancing the dramatic and heroic qualities of the visuals. This voiceover approach injected humour, energy, and a sense of anticipation, making the animations both informative and entertaining. The deep, commanding tone contrasted perfectly with the stylised comic visuals, helping to frame QMS’s innovations as bold, game-changing achievements within their industry. The combination of striking visuals and a tongue-in-cheek trailer-style narration created a distinctive identity for the campaign, one that felt confident, memorable, and full of personality.
Throughout production, PUSHED worked closely with the QMS team to ensure every detail aligned with their messaging and values. From initial concept and scriptwriting through to storyboarding, illustration and sound design, the process was built on collaboration and creative problem-solving. PUSHED’s illustrators developed a series of strong, brand-consistent visuals that balanced clarity with excitement, while the motion team introduced dynamic transitions that mirrored the pacing of a comic action sequence. The end result was two high-impact, on-brand animations that effectively combined technical storytelling with entertainment value. They have since been used across presentations, trade shows and online platforms, helping QMS communicate their commitment to performance and sustainability in a visually distinctive and memorable way. These films stand as a perfect example of how creative storytelling, brand consistency and bold visual design can transform complex industrial topics into engaging, audience-friendly content.
