There is just something captivating about the peaceful movement of shapes and geometric figures through space, so when ITV needed content for their Unwind with ITV series, which airs during the early morning hours, animation was an obvious choice. Unwind with ITV features captivating and relaxing footage paired with ambient music designed to encourage reflection and tranquillity. \u00a0The animation serves the purpose of being simultaneously engaging and calming\u2014the viewer finds themselves easily captivated by the almost hypnotic movements. Each of the colours and movements were carefully and intentionally chosen to provide a relaxing break for your brain as you allow your thoughts to drift along with the movements of the animation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pushed was commissioned to create this clip, which is part of a series of related animations created for the Unwind with ITV project, by Rock Oyster Media. All the animations for this project, which were crafted in Blender, are created to be three dimensional to increase the ambient nature of the clips. Although the animations seem simple due to their relaxing nature, every element had to be carefully considered to accomplish the goals of the project, as they were designed to fit certain colour palates and tailored to reflect certain moods.
