Live Action Production in Devon – This 30 second TV advert for ITV combined live action shots with cheerful animation. It is loosely based on the story of Goldilocks and the three bears narrative promoting the tagline \u201cIt\u2019s a great feeling to have such great choice! This isn\u2019t a fairy tale!\u201d for the Fairway Furniture television advertisement. The team at Pushed wanted to create a feeling of joviality and fun as the little girl danced around the beautiful furniture in her home with her mother looking on. Within the thirty seconds of the advertisement, the beautiful, whimsical, and sturdy pieces of Fairway Furniture were featured as a way to promote the twenty-five percent off sale for the brand. All of the elements of the video were carefully crafted in order to communicate an attitude of cheerfulness, joy, and whimsy that are brought to mind when thinking of a fairy tale. From the bears on the wall coming to life and dancing along with the girl, the message of the tagline was woven into every aspect of the commercial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The footage carefully combined the jaunty animation of the three bears as they came to life and danced along the walls to follow the girl, giving the scenes the fairy tale look that was required. The two-dimensional animations were produced in After Effects and then tracked to the footage along the walls so that the bears truly seemed to come to life. Combining animation and live action footage in this way provides an appealing visual for viewers, further making the advertisement stand out while still adhering to the brand message harkening back to the story of Goldilocks as she can never find the \u201cjust right fit\u201d.
