Video Production – Paul Goes to Hollywood <\/em>follows master baker Paul Hollywood on a massive road trip across America. He starts in New York and visits local restaurants and culinary places of interest inspired by iconic films along his route before finishing across the country in Los Angeles, with numerous interesting stops and adventures along the way. His journey brings him quite literally from one coast to the other and documents his experiences tasting the best dishes and embarking on the most unique adventures that each locale has to offer. Pushed\u2019s goal in this title sequence was to capture the distinctive themes of the show and to create a versatile and engaging clip that was both unique and closely relevant to the series.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This title sequence combined live action shots of Paul Hollywood superimposed onto animated 2D map illustrations in order to show Paul\u2019s progression across America from East to West through the series. Combining live action shots with these fun, colourful illustrations allows the opening sequence to mix actual clips from the series with a whimsical feeling that can easily be added to each episode without adjustment. An upbeat soundtrack emphasises the themes of adventure, fun, and exploration as scenes of Paul Hollywood travelling across the vast expanse of the United States of America. Incorporating these highlights into the title sequence gives an interesting overview of the series and allows each individual episode, with its associated unique adventure, to be tied into the larger themes and ideas of the series as a whole.
